Safari Itinerary
Pick up at 0630hrs from your hotel in Nairobi and depart for Olpejeta conservancy (360square km)is a private Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary situated between the Aberdares and Mount Kenya. The sanctuary hosts birdlife, exotic flora and wildlife including the two remaining northern white rhino.
Arrive with game drive towards the Serena Sweet waters for Lunch and relax until 1600hrs.
Head for an evening game drive that includes a visit to the orphaned chimpanzees. Game drive continues until sunset.
Dinner and overnight at the Camp with a superb view of drinking animals (elephants, giraffes among others) from the best waterhole in the area.
Check out at the lodge after breakfast and depart for Meru National Park, covering an area of 870kms and hosts a wide range of wildlife such as the elephant, leopard, black rhino, grevy zebra, kudu, hartebeests and hippopotamus among others.
Check in just in time for lunch at the lodge; relax until 1600hrs for an evening game drive.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Check out the lodge and depart for Samburu with game en-route.
Samburu National Reserve, situated along the Ewaso nyiro. The reserve has plenty to attract wildlife from the surrounding savannah plains. The reserve hosts over 450 species of birds such as the Somali ostrich, D`Arnauds Barbet, Somali bee-eater and the golden pipit among others not forgetting that it’s also rich in wildlife such as the grevy zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and the beisa oryx.
Arrive at the reserve and head towards the lodge arriving just in time for lunch. Relax after lunch until 1600hrs.
Embark on an evening game drive in search of
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Embark on a full day game drive in the reserve at 0730hrs after breakfast.
Return to the lodge for a sumptuous lunch buffet and relax until 1500hrs before another game drive until sunset.
You will have the chance to visit the Samburu village and interact with the colorful Samburu people in their traditional cultural setting. (optional at an extra cost).
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Check out the lodge 0700hrs after breakfast and depart for Nairobi.
Arrive Nairobi at Carnivore restaurant for a sumptuous farewell lunch and transfer back to your hotel.
