Lake Manyara National Park is situated in Arusha, Tanzania. It is known for flocks of thousands of flamingoes that feed along the edge of the lake in the wet season. Other bird species around include; Marabou Stock, pink-backed pelican, great-white pelican, and yellow billed stock. It also hosts a number of wildlife species like the wildbeeste, Thomson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, Cape Buffaloes, giraffe, hippos, baboons, warthogs, elephants and many more. It is also a typical locality for the endagered fish, Oreochamis amphimalas. Such amazing wild and birdlife make it a typical tour destination of all time.
