Pick up at 0545hrs from Diani beach and drive to Watamu passed Mombasa, arrive in Watamu around 0830hrs. Depart on a glass bottom boat in search of dolphins then snorkel at the marine park,walk and discover Garoda beach not far from the marine park.
Later proceed to the mida creek along mangrove forest where varieties of birds can be seen including flamingos, pelicans, marine eagles and more…. Have grilled lunch at the Waka Waka or Sudi island “seafood and swahili food combined served fresh with tropical fruits,around 1530hrs return back from this magical sea trip and explore the indigenous people of Watamu as you go in the Village.
Bajuns and Giriamas are the locals and very friendly. Those guests returning to Diani/Mombasa can do so and those who stay in Watamu can take bath at our resident home and relax with our close family members and neighbors around before visiting Crab Sharb Dabasso for a Sundowner and soft drinks on top of a restaurant built in mangrove forest that gives visitors a real romantic moment,the nature along the boardwalk can give you a different feeling in a different continent. Afterwards we return home for dinner and overnight, while in Watamu village. Next day after breakfast you can visit the Ruins of Gede at a friendly price or attached to the whole Tour package…. the Gede ruins reflect history back in the 9th century and the rich culture can be felt to date.Here can guests see sykes monkeys and tease them because they are friendly and well trained….
From this short and final tour guests can travel back to diani/Mombasa beach with a smooth drive through sisal, mangos and cashewnuts plantations…
Some guests can extend their stay in Watamu so they can visit Marafa hells kitchen and Robinson island located north of Malindi town… 2 days or 3 days in Watamu and Malindi cannot be compared with anything rather than fun and enjoyment with a mix of cultural exposure at the best rate.
