Safari Itinerary

We will depart from Diani at 07:00hrs or any hotel of choice and drive to Tsavo east National park using the Mombasa Nairobi Trans- African highway and into the National park and enjoy an enroute game on the way to the lodge, arriving in time for lunch. At 3.30 pm we will head out for the evening game and get a chance to see different wild animals especially Giraffe, Zebra, Buffalo and lots of “Red Elephants” that Tsavo is famous for. With a bit of luck, we will also spot some of the big cats before heading back for dinner and overnight stay at 6:00pm.

After a hearty breakfast, we will go on a full day’s game drive around the park visiting different parts of the park including the swampy loop side that attracts the most game. The game drive will also take us to the pipeline area where Elephants love to congregate for water and mud bathing, we will later visit the Luggard falls around the Galana river and Yatta Plateau before heading back to the Lodge.

We start this day with an early morning game drive to witness the magical sunrise that Kenya is famous for, this time also offers a great opportunity to see the big cats either hunting or feasting on the previous night’s kill. After a sumptuous breakfast back at the lodge, we will depart for the scenic drive back to Diani via the Voi – Mombasa highway.
